The most popular British soap operas are Eastenders and Coronation Street . There are a popular dramas about the live of ordinary people . You can watch these programs three or five episodes each week. A lot of people are addicted to soap operas . There are magazines , web sites for all the soap operas . They have a lot of information about the program and you can find out what's going to happen next .

Eastenders is set in the east end of London and has been broadcast since 1985 . Coronation Street is based in Manchester and it is the oldest soap. And Emmerdale takes place in a village in the Yorkshire countryside . It starter in 1972.
